there's no way around it; if you want beautiful skin you must put some water in :)
Whether it's mineral water, alkaline, filtered or the best option available; drink plenty of water until you feel you've had enough. Sure, most will advise you to drink eight glasses of water or half your body weight; but it is my humble opinion that people are not math equations and your body will let you know when it's had its fill.
You may even find that you need more than eight glasses of water on a given day because you're so dehydrated or unable to retain water because its dripping out of you faster than you can chug it down. Or, you may find that you need far less water (than recommended) because you ate foods (cucumber, watermelon, coconut, tomato, etc.) that were high in water content that day. The point is only YOU can really know when enough is enough. So listen to your body, because it's always giving you signals to either stop, go or slow down. The question is, are you paying attention?
If you Reeeeallly need more reasons why you should drink more water, well here are a few:

- Water helps to improve metabolism, thus aiding in weight loss
- Water helps the brain (which is comprised of mostly water) function, thereby drinking enough of it helps you to stay alert and concentrate better
- Water helps the skin glow from the inside out

- It is a vital component for the human blood, which consists of more than 80% water
- Water helps the body's organs absorb nutrients
- Water lubricates the joints and provides oxygen to the muscle
